One full clip from a UMP can be separated into two or three bursts in most cases. You must keep your distance, and take advantage of the fact that the UMP remains accurate even after 10 rounds or so into the clip. The UMP just can't fire fast enough to keep up with the H&K. This slow rate of fire, however, is also the reason why most people consider the UMP to be inferior to the MP5. The reason it is able to maintain a tight sp read is because of its exceptionally slow rate of fire. It is the second most powerful SMG, and it keeps a very respectable sp read using.
